LLAMAS OF THE WINE COUNTRY
started in 1991 as
a group of llama owners with marketing as the initial goal. Over the
years, we have evolved into a group of llama lovers with many goals.
Although we have continued marketing llamas in various
ways, we have taken on the challenge to educate new owners, entertain the
public and share with each other the joys of owning llamas.
Llamas are by far the easiest to care for of any domestic livestock.
They are remarkably clean, easy to train, and their docile nature makes
them good companions for children as well as adults. Llamas are superbly
functional pack animals, fine fiber producers, guard animals for sheep and
goats, and gentle pets.
